2023 proved to be a year for the books, in both good ways and bad ways. I explored the country, and crossed off several new states on my 50 States Tour. Traveling, Photography. Learning. Growing. Events. Track Days. Photo Shoots.
The biggest change this year came when I got laid off from my job of three years. I had been in the banking and finance world for most of my career. I even have a Master's Degree in Accounting. When I was laid off, I didn't know what to do. What was I going to do? Dive back into the finance world that has proved time and time again that it is NOT the place I want to be? No. I knew there was something better out there for me. And I was right. I joined the team at Larz Anderson Auto Museum as a full time employee, their Education Manager. For the past several months I have been able to explore my passion for automotive even further, in new and exciting ways.
2023 helped me grow more into the person that I want to become. It showed me once again that not everyone who comes into your life is meant to stay. Some are simply meant to teach you something, or to show you something about yourself that you didn't know was possible.,
I want to thank all my old friends for sticking by me, the new friends I have made along the way, and my family.
Cheers to 2024 being even better.
